ABOUT ME
Hi, my name is Simon and I’m an award-winning social media producer and content producer. I live in Greater Manchester and know more about TV, sport, music and James Bond than is necessary.
EXPERIENCE
Over the past 15 years I have created content for online, film, television and audio audiences. I’ve covered a wide range of genres and have delivered across entertainment, sport, religion and ethics, political events, news and current affairs, factual, music, children's, learning and a variety of films.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Working on one of the world’s biggest film franchises since 2021 covering all aspects of social media and digital output.
Creating online content for the iconic Children’s programme Blue Peter.
Working with the CBBC Instagram account to increase impressions, engagement and interactivity for the third series of Saturday Mash-Up (the modern day Going Live or Live & Kicking)
Helping to rebrand the look and feel of CBeebies social media templates for use across their whole team
Creating shareable content for BBC 5 live and 5 live Sport for Somethin’ Else Productions
Working on the 2018 FIFA World Cup, creating digital output for online and social media audiences
Building and creating strategy for BBC Get Inspired's social media and winning a regional RTS Award for Best Multiplatform
Developing social media campaigns for #BigThankYou and #BigHelpOut with Eddie Izzard
Directing VT's for The FA People's Cup - including a goal which was viewed in excess of 6 million times
Worked on 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympics, 2014 and 2018 Men’s FIFA World Cup, 2015 and 2019 Women’s FIFA World Cup.
