BBC Bad People

  • Overseeing all visual aspects of this popular true crime podcast and liaising with BBC Sounds digital teams to ensure content matched their briefs and guidelines

  • Produced and managed all social media content for the show including advising on workflows and timings

  • Shot and edited a range of bespoke content in studio to introduce the podcast to new audiences

  • Working with studio crew to set up, dress and light the set I created in the style of a psychiatrist’s office created with a large helping of my own props and furniture

  • Multi‑cam edited the show using four Blackmagic 6K cameras with cinema lenses sync’d by timecode with an ATEM

  • Dealt with presenters Dr Julia Shaw and Amber Haque to ensure they were happy and content was supported on their own accounts

  • BBC Bad People became one of the top 10 shows for under 35 listeners across BBC Sounds in 2024

CBeebies and CBBC YouTube

  • Working across CBBC future formats for CBBC YouTube team. Identifying potential content and creating realistic strands for the team to create throughout 2024/25

  • Shooting and advising on filming for new and existing brands across the department

  • Took on the role of channel manager across both accounts and implemented new ways of working for the teams

  • Worked with the producers, internal and external stakeholders, impact team and marketing team to to collaborate on delivery of content

  • Teamed with the BBC’s live streaming team to implement live streaming for CBeebies and CBBC

  • Oversaw nearly 600m views in 2024

  • 1 million subscribers gained in 2024. This is roughly a third of total subscribers

  • Changed the way the team worked on YouTube Shorts and added 100m views in first six months

Industria Studios

  • Worked on one of the world’s biggest film franchises

  • For ‘Saturday Mash-Up’ I created and managed content for the CBBC website and social media accounts

  • Created one of CBBC’s most watched TikTok’s of 2021

  • Developed a digital strategy and tracked progress and audience behaviours through analytics

  • Created, edited and delivered hundreds of assets through Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects

  • Working alongside ITACU and BBC Legal, I was responsible for the editorial content surrounding online voting and competitions

  • Worked across the BBC Pop Hub social media contract on all radio networks

  • Oversaw the production of social media for BBC 5 Live and BBC 5 Live Sport

  • I worked as a VT Producer on BBC Learning’s Tomorrow’s World Facebook Live streams

BBC Get Inspired

  • Working on the BBC’s Olympic legacy campaign to encourage participation in playing sport

  • Produced and managed all social media content

  • Planning and budgeting for all social media content

  • Created a clear social media strategy and implemented new procedures for 100% organic approach

  • Grew accounts from a small online presence to over 50,000 Twitter followers and over 20,000 Facebook likes in just over a year without paid advertising spend

  • Delivered major campaigns such as #BigThankYou with Eddie Izzard at BBC Sports Personality of the Year in 2014 and 2015

  • Helped to create The FA People’s Cup where over 75,000 people played free football in 2015 and 2016

BBC Sport

  • Working across BBC Sport portfolio of content including social support on programmes such as Match of the Day, MotD2 and Football Focus

  • I created and managed content on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Vine and Google+.

  • I developed long term social media plans to support major event coverage working with a large range of teams from across the BBC.

  • I worked within teams such as the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics team to produce major campaigns such as #lovecurling

  • Created specific graphics and infographics for use across all of BBC Sport’s digital output

  • Worked with high profile talent to encourage them to integrate social media into broadcasting

  • Interviewed various athletes for BBC Sport articles

  • Worked on Live Text Commentaries providing text updates to sport fans around the world

Freelance Work

  • Working on Test Match Special I created the viral video ‘The Unplayable Delivery’ which saw presenter Jonathan Agnew read out a letter from a listener called Patrick

  • The video was nominated for Sporting Moment of the Year by the sports charity Laureus at their global awards

  • I have conducted research into influencers in a variety of areas of interest and provided companies with potential collaborators to use in campaigns to match briefs and within budget

  • Helped small businesses and charities to use social media platforms to spread the word about their work

  • Have spoken to schools and universities about my work and career to encourage and share skills with students
